The Solar Eclipse is when the moon revolves around the Earth, but is so far from Earth that size and distance no longer matter. Earth appears to be only slightly smaller than the sun during the solar eclipse, which is not the case any other time, the Moon almost blocks our view of the sun, but a small amount of concentrated sun light, creeps through the small gaps. Looking at the solar eclipse without protective eyewear will result in damage to your eyes and possible blindness, it would be like letting someone put a magnifying glass above your eye while the sun is at its hottest which would be idiotic. But the question is, why does this happen? What caused the solar eclipse in the first place? The origin dates back to time immemorial, back when only the Gods themselves

Osiris did outlast his brother, and just as he was about to strike down his brother and send him to hell, Ra would intervene. He condemned them both with no hesitation. Set was condemned to living within the sun itself, having his body burned slowly until it was nothing but ashes, only for Ra to bring him back to life and make him relive the suffering over and over. Osiris was given a less harsh conviction, but it was still to his disliking, Osiris was condemned to rule over the dead, to understand what he was going to sentence his brother to, a life of misery and emptiness which is worse than the temporary bliss that Set got before he was resurrected to die again. Now, every 18 months, Ra the Egyptian sun god eclipses the moon and shows the ashes of Set to humanity, as reminder to get over your conflicts or be condemned to a hellish fate forever, because there are fates worse than
