I will be defending Damon Salvatore from the television show “The Vampire Diaries”. Damon is a vampire and the eldest brother of the Salvatore Family. He and his brother Stefan grew up in Mystic Falls and have returned after several years to build a new life. He is known to be the evil and vindictive brother of the two. He acts selfishly and inhumane to get what he wants. Damon always gets the bad rap for acting on his instincts before thinking.
In my opinion, Damon is misunderstood and underappreciated. Everyone always sees the cruel act, but never the reasoning behind it. For instance, everyone would blame Damon for making Stefan’s life miserable. They would imply that Damon is the reason why Stefan could not live a normal life in peace.
