The kids only cared that they didn’t get to go into the room, and not about their parents feelings or needs. The kids are blinded from seeing that their family is more important than the technology because the room is so advanced. Also, the part of the story where the parents can’t change the scenery supports the theme because the kids have either thought too much about the nursery that it won’t change, or because they messed with the controls. Either way, the kids are more secretive about their room than some people are about committing a crime, and this shows that they are more worried about their technology than their parents feelings, they don’t care that their parents are worried at all. This idea is important because so many people nowadays are more into new clothes and technology than they are keeping relationships together. Having new and fancy clothes is more important than being nice or a good person, when friends hang out the majority of the time is spent on social media or texting people, and life in general seems to have just turned into a competition over who has what. Children are bullied because they don’t have the latest style of clothing or they wore their hair the wrong way, and it’s not fair. People’s minds have been set to only see the fake, materialistic things in life, and most of the actual good human beings, most of the people that actually care for others, are not spoken of. I feel as though people are getting so caught up in all of the “things”, that they aren’t seeing the people and actual depth of the world. If you feel the same way I do, like the true meanings of life have been pushed aside, then don’t just worry about it. Do something. Set aside your phone for a couple of hours and just go and talk to your family. Do your best to not initially judge someone based on what they're wearing. Try and seek friends that show good personality qualities. Find a way to just change one little thing you do, because if everyone in the world can pick out one, tiny detail to change,
