The Cowboys have had quite the heart wrenching season so far, and that is putting it mildly. Week one the Cowboys suffered the loss of their star wideout in Dez Bryant. As if this wasn't devastating enough the very next week, their playmaker and heart of the offense Tony Romo went during the third quarter resulting in a broken clavicle. So there they were. Heading into week 3 with their two best offensive weapons looking at lengthly recovery times. It was as if the Dallas Cowboys season had flashed before their very eyes. The next three games resulted in no wins, and the Cowboys season hanging in the balance.

Unfortunately with three consecutive losses their margin for error if you will has been substantially tightened. The Cowboys have to make a move and have to make one quick, before one of their NFC EAST rivals start to pull too far away in the race, for the Cowboys to possibly even think of making a comeback. There are two major things i personally think that need to be a priority during this bye week. One being that they need to focus on the talent that they have on their current roster and stop focusing on the talent that is injured. One major issue that has been very apparent has been the offensive "vanilla" like play calling. You cannot call the same play on the same down over and over and expect that to fool opposing defenses. if you never take a shot deep down field you are not keeping defenses honest. Even though the Cowboy's are without the NFL's best wideout, they cannot call plays like they are. Its causing multiple 3 and out's and exhausting a defense that would other wise be dominating the game. There are too many positives to give up on that Super Bowl dream we all hold near and dear to our hearts. So be as it may that the Cowboys are at a crossroads already this season, do not count them out just yet. Its obvious they are making some serious moves to keep this Cinderella story
