Dalhousie Lake Dalhousie Lake in Ontario, Canada is a very interesting place. it is located about two hours away from the Thousand Islands. The lake is about three miles long, and one mile wide. There are lots of wide, tall, colorful, new, and old cottages around the lake. Imagine the smell of pine trees in the cool crisp air, and the taste of fish with a hint of salt water. As you are walking down the shore, feel the sand between your toes as you listen to the sound of waves crashing upon the shore. Our family goes to Dalhousie Lake for vacation every summer. All of my relatives on my dad's side of the family come also. We rent out some of the cottages that my grandma owns on the lake. It is so much fun! Some of my best memories
