PREAMBLE
We the students of Dakota State University, set forth this constitution to inform and educate the student body on the proper handling and shooting of firearms and archery; as well as, foster the desire to pursue the sport in recreation and competitive settings, and do hereby adopt this Constitution.
Article I (Name)
1. The official name of the organization is Dakota State University Archery and Gun Club.
2. This organization will use this name, or its acronym, DSUAGC, in all publicity and correspondence.
Article II (Purpose)
1. To inform and educate the student body on the proper handling and shooting of firearms and archery; as well as, foster the desire to pursue the sport in recreation and competitive settings.

DUTIES 1. The President will chair all meetings of Dakota State University Archery and Gun Club and will call special meetings as necessary. The president will only vote on matters in a case of a tie.
2. The Vice President shall chair all meetings or committees formed for a specific task or objective. Upon completion of the task or achievement of the objective, the committee will be dissolved.
3. The Secretary and Treasurer will work together to take, record, and file what happens in meetings; maintain records and financial transactions of Dakota State University Archery and Gun Club, and construct all official correspondence for the organization, including advertisement and media involvement.
4. The Event Coordinator will direct the planning of educational and social events.
Section C. REQUIREMENTS FOR RUNNING AND HOLDING OFFICE
1. All officers, candidates, and any other position in office, must be currently enrolled at DSU.
2. All officers must be active voting members of Dakota State University Archery and Gun Club.
Section D. NOMINATIONS AND ELECTIONS
1. Nominations for all offices will be taken from the floor of the third to last meeting of each
