Like before they fell back in love with each other. The only thing that was in his way was Tom and Gatsby was determined to prove that Daisy never loved him. So what he did was he waited for the right moment to bring the subject up. As he waited for the right moment he saw a chance to make Daisy his and so he went for it, as Daisy and Jay Gatsby grew fond of each other they rekindled an old flame that they had many many years ago the only problem was Daisy’s husband Tom who did not trust Jay and he was right Jay Gatsby is not the man who he says he is. Things got heated in the apartment where he tried to get Daisy back so they both left. On the way home Daisy was driving dangerously and hit a pedestrian which was Tom lover. This angered her husband and he ended up killing jay Gatsby for the crime he didn’t commit.
