Most of African and indeed Nigeria has a problem with power supply and this has often crippled large businesses and shut down small ones completely. The Dangote cement PLC has partnership with General Electric (GE) to provide power for the industry so it is able to meet its demand targets4.
Its Pan-African investment and expansion means that has a business presence in a lot of African countries through the building of its integrated cement plants. Dangote cement partners with governments in countries where it establishes its cement plants5. Dangote has expanded to Senegal, South Africa, Zambia, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Republic of Congo, and Kenya6.

Its target market is the populations located in each of the states and countries where it has plants and terminals. The populace is not left out, whether they are seeking to build a house or industries and for governments embarking on road constructions.
The company has depots in 21 states in Nigeria. The company has plants that are strategically located across the various divides of the two major Nigeria rivers; the plants are located in Kogi State, Benue State and Ogun State. Other Dangote cement plants are located in other West African countries like Ghana and Senegal.
