Dachau Concentration Camp Research Paper

There are many different concentration camps that Hitler used to put the jews in. But one that stands out is the Dachau concentration camp it stands out the most because it was the first concentration camp that Hitler built. There is also a lot of history on the weapons or strategies they used to kill the prisoners there and how much food did the prisoners get in a day. Another is how much people even survived, did the prisoners ever get treated when they were sick or injured? The Dachau concentration camp was really harsh. There are many harsh treatments and weapons they use at the Dachau camp to kill people or torcher them. The Prisoner in the camp got tea in the morning watery soup for lunch and were lucky if they found a potato peel in there. For supper all the prisoner got were a small piece of black bread. One of the main weapons that were used for prisoners that refused to work was the gas chambers. The gas chambers have a special gas called Hydrogen Cyanide. That’s the gas they used to kill the people. The gas chambers are small sealed of places that kill the people mainly jews. The camp in all was a disgusting mess there was dead bodys everywhere. There were many ways people died at the camp like from the gas chambers and getting shot by the guards and from sicknesses. By January 1945 about 4,000 prisoners died at the camp and at the end 243,000 prisoners died at the camp and that is a lot of deaths and the population went way down, the population dove down a lot for the jews. Some of the guards that protected the camp and kept the prisoners in shape got sick from them and could have died but got really sick.
