Da Veon Samuel Motivation

Decent Essays
I'm Da'Veon Samuel and I want to major in graphic design, so I can really use my talent and improve on it and also make a difference with it. I'm hard working and dedicated, and I believe that if someone has a passion for something they will excel in that field no matter what but if you don't you will live a life of regret . I do not want to be in that situation 10 years from now ,i have a younger brother and I want to show him how to be a great man. Another big thing is that I want my mom to know that she raised a wonderful man and that i'm going to do good for myself that's why i’m seeking to continue my education and also my football career here at Brevard College.

As cliché as it may have been, I dropped out, I worked for a period of time and sent myself on a trip to Europe to “find myself”.…

College is a life changing investment that prepares for life and career. The vast spectrum of knowledge, skills obtained, and experiences from a college degree more than compensates for the monetary cost of tuition. Creating art is my passion; I have always wanted to become a great artist ever since I was a child drawing on my walls and copying pictures from books. I have devoted my life to improving my talents by illustrating my own stories, practicing drawing daily, and challenging myself to earning my own money doing what I love by drawing commissions. Learning how to communicate through illustration is a valuable skill that will live with me for the rest of my life and progressing my artist career.…

Someone like Sam impacted society in a good and a bad way. There could be many good things about what Sam is doing but almost for every good thing he does there is a bad side to it. For example if he is helping someone get into their dream college they could be taking the spot of someone who deserves it. He could affect his town economically because how could some high school kids get $2500? You could only imagine what kids are doing to get that kind of money.…

My educational goal started in September 2014 when I first applied for admissions at Bellevue College. I had been laid off as an Administrative Design Assistant at a local staging company where I discovered the interior design world, and my passion for it. The reason I was given is that I lacked experience necessary to work alongside the principle designer, even though I was hired specifically because of my lack of design experience two years earlier. While attending my first quarter at BC, I completed my necessary weekly job search requirements for unemployment insurance, and completed the Training Benefits application required by Employment Security Department before the 90 day deadline. Being awarded Training Benefits allowed me to…
