The arguments about supporters and critics are well stated facts about DST. Either DST Has a positive or negative affects on the people. It is surely positive because a great mind, such as Ben Franklin is behind the debate of DST. It must be positive. Studied have shown that DST save lives!
If DST wasn't safe for the people why would such a great mind, encourage this topic. The citizens of United state have been proposing DST for over 200 years, If it was a threat for the us culture it would be stop along time ago.
