DNP Student Entry Essay

This entry will discuss the DNP student’s progress with implementation of her scholarly project. The DNP student implemented her project on May 20, 17. The DNP student prepared every day for her presentation. The preparation for this project implementation was intense. The DNP student was in constant contact with her mentor to make sure everything was going to run smoothly. The DNP student was able to have assistants help with organizing refreshment. There were expected and non-expected findings. The DNP student expected a huge turnout but no more than 20 participants as stated in flyer. The DNP student was expecting more participants. After the educational program, participants stated that they would like to apart of what the DNP student is doing once she graduates. They want to be a part of changing the mindset of the Haitian community. Collaboration comes in many forms. Primary care providers must be able to collaborate with other professionals in other arenas. When interdisciplinary teams collaborate, healthcare delivery is impacted and the quality of care that a patient receives in better. The DNP student spent a tremendous amount of time working on her section four. The DNP student worked on her section four since May 21 and was able to submit it on June 19. In section four, the DNP student discussed the strengths and limitations of the educational program. The DNP student was able to connect all eight DNP essentials to the educational program. In addition, the DNP student mentioned her future plans for dissemination of roject findings. The DNP student also plans to participate in television and radio shows to educate the Haitian community about advanced
