The responses from the surveys during the past 2 years indicate a positive correlation between faculty/administrators and student/alumni with regard to the culture of NSU, and, in particular, the DNIMAS honors program. Both groups identified the caring nature of the environment, life-long friendships, help above and beyond the call of duty, and a confidence in abilities. In terms of identifying what has contributed to the longevity of the program, both administrators and faculty indicated the culture at NSU is one that promotes a nurturing environment for students to be successful as well as the financial commitment from administrators.
