This article is about our president's actions towards the DACA. All that Donald Trump is doing is giving the dreamers hope by telling them they are not that far away from comprehensive immigration reform. But, they changing his mind the next day. He keeps on changing him mind, making different deals. The author also claims that building a wall is not going to affect the DACA individuals at all. All this wall is doing is giving them time for the fight. This article was written by Tim Dickinson who is an American political correspondent. He is based in Portland, Oregon and is a contributing editor to Rolling Stone.

This article is being written to all those dreamers and parents of the dreamers fighting for their rights. The author claims that even though the president keeps changing his mind and all that he is truly interested in is the wall, they should not be afraid. These include border security, interior enforcement, and merit-based immigration system. Dickinson uses pathos in this article by including in this writing that around 800,00 undocumented dreamers could face deportation. This put fear onto the individuals and their loved one, because they last thing they want is to be separated. Ethos is used in this article by placing images of dreamers and other individuals marching and fighting to be heard. Dickinson also includes an image of president Donald Trump calibrating with other white house representatives.
