D-Day was one of the most violent and crucial battles that were fought in history. The battle was also a very important aspect of WWII because it helped it out a lot. D-Day was an enormous battle that was fought in Normandy, France. It was a very large and amphibious battle which was fought between the Allied powers and Axis powers. On June 6, 1944, soldiers who fought for Allied power landed on beaches in Normandy, starting a battle which ended on July 24, 1944. D-Day was important because it allowed people to understand how to code and how to come up with codes with other people, it killed a lot of people, and it advanced their technological stuff.
