I have learned many things in dare that can help me through my whole life. First, it has taught me to not do harmful things to my body such as smoking and doing drugs. When you do things like that it puts harmful chemicals into your body that could kill you. Another thing I learned is, ways I can prevent risky situations. For example, say someone asks me if I want to have a cigarette or something else harmful or risky I can prevent this by saying something like “No thanks. I heard that a cigarette has 200 chemicals and can damage your lungs.” And then walk away. Dare teaches many things and those are a few things I haved learned but there is lots more to that I learned. I also have learned that there are many ways of bullying there is cyber bullying, physical, verbal, and social bullying. Therefore in The Rights to the Streets of Memphis, welcoming refugees into the U.S. and having a car accident all demonstrates the importance of being cautious to ensure one’s life is safe.
