Prior to obtaining my MPH, I had the opportunity to intern with the Georgia Department of Public Health (GDPH) in the Environmental Health Branch program called the Chemical Hazards Program (CHP). I assisted the CHP staff by creating and maintaining a database from their Environmental Health Education Needs Assessment on a Superfund site investigation in relation to uranium in private well-water.
