Holly is a 46 year old divorced Caucasian female who lives with friends. Holly presented with concerns about depression as well as anxiety. Holly says that she has had these symptoms for a long time and is coming to treatment because she had recently moved and it running out of her medications. Holly as a lot of abuse, physical, emotional, and sexual, in her past though she did not want to talk about it and did not speak about it effecting her daily life during intake. Holly says that the depression symptoms are most worrisome because it causes her to want to isolate and that it when she is more likely to attempt suicide or other "irrational" behaviors.
