Currently, I am taking Advance Literacy Practices and the student I am tutoring a hates reading and writing. For this assignment my partner taught the first original lesson. After she had taught the lesson with her students, we discussed some of the strengths and weaknesses that she faced. What we found was that the LES format was a strength and weakness for her lesson. The students that she taught the lesson to were not accustomed to hands-on exploratory activities.
