Cyberbullying: The Most Suicide Cases

Cyberbullying is the cause of most suicide cases. Bullies can reach there victim through the internet, social media, text or instant messages, and phone calls. There are different types of bullying; harassment in person or by phone, and also cyberstalking. Cyberbullying can cause people to become self-conscious or to commit suicide. Natural Crime Prevention Council did a study and found that 43% of 834 junior high and high school students have been cyberbullied in the past year. Girls between fifteen and seventeen are more likely to be cyberbullied.

Ryan was bullied for this; he and his bully fought then became friends. Ryan then told him some very secretive and personal things. It then turned back to bullying him; he began using everything Ryan had told him. Ryan’s bully began telling people he was a homosexual, this continued until the summer of 2003 he thought he had a friendship with a girl but she used him to get more embarrassing stories for the entertainment of her and her friends.
