Cyberbullying Pros And Cons

Similarly to the traditional bullying, cyberbullying consists of an intimidator or bully and a victim. In many situations, people generally take the victim’s side, because they appear weak and powerless. I believe that cyberbullying should be better regulated and not be protected under the First Amendment. Unlike other offensive acts like flag burning that illustrates disrespect, cyberbullying inflicts psychological and emotional harm that may potentially lead victims into committing negative acts. I believe that the First Amendment should be revised to adjust to today’s social situation, especially in terms of technology. Unlike traditional bullying, cyberbullied victims may not know their victims, which may be a good thing, but it can also hide the oppressors identity boosting his or hers confidence to attack more. …show more content…
