Cyberbullying Is Wrong

Patrick Overton once said “ watch your opinions they become words, watch your words they become actions, watch your actions they become habits, watch your habits they become character, watch your character it becomes your destiny. I will argue that cyberbullying is physically and emotionally wrong. The beginning point in support of my thesis is it's even more hurtful than face to face bullying because of audience size, connections, and how fast it travels. My second point in support of my thesis is studies show people that were exposed to this felt anxiety, shame, and fright. My concluding point in support of my thesis is one of the most serious effects and that is suicide. Cyberbullying is one of the highest causes of cyberbullying which has ascended by a rate of 48% in the years of 2013-2014 according to the cyber bullying census website. Some of the predominant cases of cyberbullying are people do it to boost their ego, get a laugh from their peers and to get get revenge. …show more content…
According to WhatIs.come one of the main reasons people cyberbully is to “ bolster or remind people of their societal standing. One supporting example for this is when a person feels threatened because another person is being active into their social territory they will do whatever it takes to keep themselves at the top of that social chain.
