Introduction

Have you ever been bullied in school? Well that has become a big issue because kids never speak up and it gets to a point where the bullied cant take the bullying anymore and they do something tragic. There's at least 2-3 bullies in every school world wide, everyone in the world will or has been bullied at least 1 time in their lifespan. In this chapter you will learn about what in school bullying is, how it affects people, and why it lasts so long.

According to the website bullyingstatistics.com the author states, there is noticeably more bullying in middle school (grades, 6, 7 & 8) then in high school (grades 9, 10, 11 & 12). This revealing statement highlights, kids tend to bully more when they are at the younger stage in life than when they grow up and are in high school, this fact also reveals, kids struggle in school from the effects of bullying more in grades 6,7 & 8 then in 9, 10, 11 & 12.

On the other hand, when kids are bullied they oftentimes don’t speak up because the bully might have threatened them or they don’t have anyone they can trust, bullies threaten the kids they are bullying because they want to torment the bullied for as long as they can.

As a result, kids who are bullied oftentimes have mental health problems such as, depression, anxiety, panic disorders, suicidal thinking/behavior, and many more. Kids with those mental disorders oftentimes carry them with them through their life up until they are 26 years old. Yet, In school bullying doesn’t just affect the bully and bullied but it also affects the bystanders, mental health disorders

Conclusion

In conclusion, in school bullying has gotten way out of hand, everyday in every school at least one person is getting bullied and threatened and they don’t speak up because they are afraid. kids go home and bottle up all their feelings because they don’t want their parents to know something is wrong.
In school bullying happens in every school worldwide and affects everyone even though the effects might not be clear to you everyone is affected by bullying whether its direct or indirect.
So if you are a bully you need to think about what damage you are doing to that person and ask yourself if that's the way you want to be treated, if you are someone who is being bullied speak up and tell someone a trusted adult or a teacher or even your school counselor because all those people are there to help
