Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. All of these social media have a common interest. They are all the sites of cyber bullying. Places where kids go to hide behind a computer screen and attack other children. Cyberbullying has taken a major jump in the last ten years. When I was growing up we first started talking about it but no one I knew actually was being bullied online. Now I know many people that suffer with being bullied online. Cyberbullying has been thrown under the rug and many people have gotten away with it because no one knows how to deal with it. I am choosing to write about what Cyberbullying does to these victims and what we can do to put a stop to it. Cyberbullying is when one person puts something hurtful or embarrassing online about another person. (“What is Cyberbullying”.) But that is not the only thing to cyber bullying. It is also all about the likes or shares that post gets. A post with zero likes or shares is going to be taken down by the original poster because the original poster is not receiving any fame of some sorts from that post. On the other hand a post with many likes or shares is going to stay up because the original poster is going to feel like they are famous. Cyberbullying is such a problem because even if the person getting bullied does not even have a social media site or anyway to reach technology. Every other person that they may be friends with can see what is being posted and can even start making fun of the victim. So…
