Technology has created new platforms for everyday people in regards to social networking. Everyone from kids to adults use different forms of technology such as texting, facebook, emailing, etc. However, sometimes these platforms provide access for those who want to cause harm to others. Cyberbullying is one of the main factors that affect students. It has a pshycological imapact that can led to depression, suicide, and social isolation. Bullyies don’t realize the negativeity of what their doing to a person online compare to being able to see the persons react when it happens. More limitations should be implemented regarding internet usage and laws should be established to protect against bullying.
During this generation technology has become a huge influence on what we know. The development of technology. Early stages of technology. The release of computers. The development of the internet.
There is a darkness that is gradually coming to the surface that nobody was really thinking would ever happen. In the beginning, bullying used to only happen in person whether it was at home, in school, or even the workplace. Individuals would find themselves becoming victims by getting picked on, called names, beaten, humiliated in public, and a lot of times somebody would start gossiping about them. People have different perceptions of what bullying is making it harder for them to understand the problem. However, if there is any form of bullying someone should be notified to help put an end to this. Providing more security on the internet and different programs to show how much of a problem it is will help put a to it. There has to be more education to recognize real bullying not only to students, but teachers, parents, and everyone else in the world. Even though, everyone can become more educated and laws can be made cyberbullying will not interlly disappper
