Social media is websites and app the people use daily basis, for example posting pictures, comment, status and etc… some of the social media websites are app are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and etc… Sometimes social media is beneficial to our generation and sometimes it’s not beneficial to our generation. The good thing about social media such as Facebook is more common to our generation because people can keep connected to family, and friends that are away from them in a different homeland country (Central Western Daily). It’s good for the businesses to expand their business (Ali). Some of the not beneficial is people don’t do face-to-face conversations, wasting lack of time on Facebook, sharing too much personal information. Social …show more content…
Cyber bullying is people who get bullied on electronic devices for example cell phone, computer, and tablet also cyber bullying, including social media sites, message, and websites. “87 percent of youth has witnessed bullying on social media” ("Facts and Statistics on Bullying and Cyber bullying"). And the most of the percent come from Facebook because of the picture their post. For example, one of my friend, her name is Dani and she got cyber bullying by a one guy. His name is Matt, he cyber bullying Dani by making a website about her. The website was about one night stand, and for one night $10. And he has posted Dani picture on his website. He stocked Dani Facebook and Instagram and from there he screenshot all picture from social media and put on his website. She felt horrible and embarrass front of everyone. Later, she finds out that he is one of her friend, then Dani told her mom about the website and her mom knew Matt mom. So Dani mom called to Matt mom and she told Matt mom about a website that Matt made and Cyber bullying to Dani. Then finally he removes that website from the internet, and he apologizes to Dani. When she told this all to me and our friends, my reaction was so mad and I really want to punch him and beat him up. But later we find out that, he has some kind of obesity that why he was doing to
