She stated that bullying happens more rapidly and extremely on social media websites. If I were to continue with my social media interview research I would focus my questions on cyber bullying and how it differs from traditional bullying. This topic could be integrated into a current cyber bullying research project by comparing the outcomes and speed of cyber bullying from in person bullying, I would focus on the aspect of when Samantha stated that because everyone can see it, it influences these witnesses to contribute to the bullying, where as in traditional bullying it would not be seen by so many people. This is how my interview could be used in a larger research project. Conducting my first interview was interesting and a learning experience. I learned how to efficiently build rapport, how to comfortable ask sensitive questions, the important act of listening and the ethical issues involved. My best interview skills were asking follow-up questions, building rapport and listening.
