Code Of Conduct: Cyberbullying And Online Harassment

The new code of conduct offers consequences for the new profound dilemma of cyberbullying and online harassment. Cyberbullying affects all races. The harressor will not be let off so easy if he becomes a repeated offender. The code of conduct is improved to address all sorts of issues that teens face nowadays. For example the code of conducts now has a better understanding of outing,online harassment, trolling,and many more different types of bullying. Befores schools would not be able at address cyberbullying and online harassment because the code of conduct did not offer any guidance however that all has changed. Harressor will now have to pay the consequence for bullying. The code of conduct will have a zero tolerance for bullying. Not just the bullying that takes place in school but all the different types. Once the cyberbully publishes something the damage is done and nothing can be done to rid of it.

If a student is getting cyberbullied they must let their parents know and the school counselor. The counselor would then speak to the parents on how the school is going to enforce the code of conduct. The victim would also be kept logged to insure the bullying has stopped and the school successively addressed it. If for some reason the student still doesn't feel safe at school the counselor would offer the victim a therapist. The therapist would help the victim overcome any emotional issues due to the bullying. They would also have the option to join a support group at school that would have other victims of bullying. No victim should ever feel alone so the schools will do everything in their power to help the victim.
