“I started cutting hair when I was 11 years old and I taught myself how to use it and be creative with it. It kind of became a part of me. When I’m using the clipper to cut hair I feel like I’m on the clipper and not really the person using it. It’s really cool. The more I use it, the more comfortable I get with it. I’ve been doing it for 19 years now and I can close my eyes and use the clipper because of how comfortable I am using it.
I grew up in a different country with a tough life because we didn’t have a lot of money. My mom couldn’t afford paying for our haircuts, so she would often ask for credit so she could pay it later and I really wanted to help her. I felt like I needed to do something.
