Salesforce.com is a website that provides services for businesses that can help businesses to conduct sales. Salesforce.com provides a very wide variety of services for businesses. “You can develop your own custom business processes. You can automate email campaigns. You can purchase or lease applications to do billing, or create your own automated billing fairly easily.” (Carothers 2014). This is a business that is very ahead of its time and is very unique. Before Benioff became the CEO of Salesforce.com he worked for companies such as Apple and Oracle. “Prior to launching Salesforce, he spent 13 years at Oracle Corporation.” (Unknown 2016). “He also worked as an assembly language programmer in Apple Computer’s Macintosh Division.” (Unknown 2016). As you can see from these two quotes Benioff was very experienced in the tech industry before he became the CEO of Salesforce.com. After working for these companies he finally decided to start his own business in 1999. (Unknown 2016).
