Presenting Problem; seems to be a sleep disorder because no matter what time Curtis goes to bed, his eyes open at two in the morning and he is unable to go back to bed.
Diagnosis; is Insomnia disorder because Curtis has trouble falling asleep, most evening he lays on his bed watching television until he can’t stay awake any longer. If he doesn’t watch television, he’ll lay on his bed worrying about work. He also has trouble staying asleep past two o’clock in the morning even when he goes to bed at ten-thirty at night.
Treatment; cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia, would help Curtis address the thoughts and behaviors that keep him from going to
