Curley's wife walking into the barn led up to her being killed. Curely's wife wants to talk to Lennie because she says she is always lonely and she has no one to talk to expect for Curley. Curely's wife told Lennie that she does not like Curley and that he is not a nice fella. Lennie told curleys wife that he likes to pet soft things and she told him to feel her soft hair this is what caused Lennie to break her neck. Curley's wife looks prettier now that she is dead because the meaness and the attention seeking had all gone away. She looked sweet and young her cheeks and lips were red and calm. In conclusion the way Curley's wife talked to Lennie and how she told him to feel her soft hair led to her death.
