Curley Blink, Case Number 27
Today October 2nd, I have a patient by the name Curley Blink (Case Number 27). Curley Blink is 30 years old man, he works with his dad on a farm and he is married. I got to talk with him and a couple of his peers and also his wife for a short amount of time. There names will not be said for protective reasons except John Steinbeck who allowed it. He wrote a book called Of Mice And Men about his life on Curley’s farm. From what I heard I believe that Mr. Blink has a insecure and anger issue problem after talking to his so called "peers". Blink has became insecure for many reasons. For example this quote from Youthvoices.com is stating insecurity is a feeling that is triggered by diffrent emoitions that you think of your self.” Why people become insecurity is because it's a feeling of unease or nervousness, and could be triggered by feeling vulnerable in some way about oneself; self image or/and ego.” This statement is talking about insecurity and how it is caused. Bully, Bullied, Bystander...and Beyond is an article about bullying, what causes people to bully and what can stop bullying. for example One of the topics is a paragraph that explains why people bully named The Rewards of Bullying; Barbara Coloroso is stating, “Indeed, it can provide a bounty of prizes, such as elevated status, applause, laughter and approval.” This statement tells that if you bully it will boost your self elevated status with some laughing to it. Also people might find you cool and acceptable. Since Curley has an insecurity issue, maybe fighting people is a way to boost his self status and make people think that he is

When a bully feels that his/her self-esteem is being threatened, generally, the bully reacts and tries to put somebody else down. A great example of this in the book is when Deshawn, “started trash-talking Randy, a lanky Riverdale kid with a mop haircut, after Randy hit a single” (Moore 53). Deshawn did not want to feel inferior to anybody else, so he attempted to upset Randy, which he succeeded in. Recently, my friend's younger sister finished her freshman year in high school. Sexual harassment has always been, and still is, an extremely controversial topic. Some people tend to think that sexual harassment cases are all stemmed from lies made up by victims to gain attention or sympathy. Others, however, see sexual harassment as a serious crime that has been locked away in a vault and ignored by society. Whichever side one takes, the fact that sexual harassment and sexual discrimination laws play an important part in many aspects of society still stands. From the beginning of time, humans have struggled in deciding what rights certain groups should or should not have, and, slowly, everyone started to be set upon the same plane.…
