Curiosity Rover: Scene Analysis

I chose the circuit theme with the red-orange variant to match the technology of the Curiosity Rover and red-orange color of Mars. For the title slide, I decided to change the theme layout of the title slide by centering the title, subtitle, and picture in the middle of the slide and not leave it positioned closer to the left as it was before. I also centered the titles of the three text slide so that the topics of the slide would be emphasized by contrasting from the left alignment of the body text. I determined that it would be best to group the presentation’s information into three categories, the Mars Rover’s missions, abilities, and details, and bullet the info using short statements. Additionally, I included a slide with multilevel bullet list since the information stated was a sub-point of a previous bullet point. I decided to change the body font from the theme font of TW Cen MT (body) to Arial since it was more …show more content…
I included one general picture of the rover so that the audience will have a visual of the topic machinery. I included the picture of the Rover shooting a laser since the slide discussed its capabilities. Because the title said we would be exploring Mars through the presentation with the Mars Curiosity Rover, by the time the presentation ended we should have done so. Thus, I changed “exploring” to “explored” for the closing slide. I decided to apply the Gallery transition to all slides since it seemed to put the slides on display as if they were pictures in a gallery. However, after reviewing the presentation, I thought that the Gallery transition did not do what I thought it would for the presentation so I changed the transition. I selected the Airplane transition because I reminded me of a rocket blasting off into space, coinciding with the topic of the

Caché Scene Journal Description of the Scene Caché is a French film, directed by Michael Haneke. I chose to analyze the last ten minutes of the film because I found the ending very intriguing. The specific time of the film scene I selected is from 1 hour 46 minutes of the film till the end of the film. This scene can be divided into two specific scenes. The first scene takes place at George’s childhood farmhouse, and there is a man and woman who come in a car and pick up a little boy from the house despite the boy’s will.…

My first symbol is the books. Maddy has spent all of her life locked in her house and in that time she read a lot. Choosing the books as a symbol shows what Maddy does with her time in the house. Then having my second symbol as the ocean shows where she wants to go. I chose the ocean because throughout the book and her time she spent talking with Olly she always talked about seeing the ocean and traveling.…

The idea of wilderness has been severely redefined throughout history. It has transformed from a genuine piece of nature that was not thought of to be sacred, to a museum-like section of land that needs to constantly stress the importance of conservation and protection. It is not a casual place anymore, but rather something that is not necessarily guaranteed and cannot be taken for granted. However, throughout all of the change, there is one aspect of wilderness that has remained intact. Wilderness serves as a place for people to escape; It is a getaway that allows humans to avoid reality and all the troubles that come with it.…

Claws clicked softly against the smooth polished surface of the bar's counter holding a lazy rhythm as Shen drummed his fingers idly. Zaffre Grotto had never been a place he liked to linger in for long. The place lived up to its extravagant reputation and its services were top notch as to be expected, but most people who frequented the place had a stick up their ass. At least most of them had the common sense not to test him by now. After slamming a couple rich boys through tables several months ago no one seemed too eager to try to hit him with their silver spoons, lest they found themselves choking on them instead.…

We learned and took notes of what we were told to looks but I feel like there’s a more efficient way to learning this. Anderson uses the narrative technique in this scene effectively to challenge the audience’s own beliefs and ethos. The Moonrise Kingdom chase scene introduces an aptly-named Social Services, a character that serves as a whole entity embodying an organization. She is there to get Sam, so he could get electro-shock therapy –again this creates the sense of morbidity that presents itself at varying points in the story. Anderson allows the viewer to question: is this right? Behind all the comedy, Anderson displays morality throughout his narrative; he is always questioning the morality behind everything.…
