In the modern capitalistic society of Australia’s economy, businesses have predominantly more power over their marketplace counterpart, consumers (general members of society), as such the government finds it relatively necessary to enforce legal regulations to ordain the environment. Cambridge Dictionary defines a “necessary evil” as something unpleasant that must be accepted in order to achieve a particular result. Evidently, the major issue that is of concern is whether such relevant legalisation either enhances or hinders a business’ capability to achieve profit, in balance with, the rights and safety of consumers. More specifically, the consideration that relevant legal regulation such as Sydney’s Lockout Laws “villainise” the business culture of late night entertainment industries, limiting business profitability in order to achieve a greater sense of safety in the community. Furthermore, the innovative Uber…

For my persuasive essay I would discuss my reasoning on why I believe the drinking age should be raised to 25. There are too many incidents involving alcohol and young adults. If the drinking age was 25 it would decrease the chances of engaging in unprotected sex, driving while intoxicated, and overall it would minimize the amount of bad choices made among young adults. The brain isn’t fully mature until the age of 25 which means that the decision making part of our brain isn’t fully developed before then. In order to prevent drunk young adults from making bad choices they should refrain from drinking until their brain is fully matured.…

The idea that a later school day is beneficial towards students is preposterous because students with after school activities and jobs would need to be out of school at an earlier hour. Sure if they 're watching YouTube eating, and drinking energy drinks all night long than we could say that this is primarily the reason they complain about being tired for school. But what about the kids that find themselves tossing and turning all night long until they realize they 're alarm just went off.
