“Teens go through, and are expected to cope with hormonal changes, puberty, social and parental forces, work and school pressures, as well as encountering many conditions and problems.” ("The Most Common Problems Teenagers Face Today”). Many young people have to worry about following rules and laws everywhere they go, including school and work, which can be very stressful. A new national survey suggests that “teens across the United States are feeling high levels of stress that they say negatively affect every aspect of their lives.” (Jayson). There are teens who aren’t even staying out late to hang out or to cause trouble, but they simply have jobs or other business to take care of. “High School can be a very exciting and busy time in the life of a young student.” ("Managing a Busy Schedule"). Teenagers may be busy with juggling school, work, church, and other extra curricular activities that can take up a lot of time or even keep them out late.
