For years statistics have shown a plethora of fluctuation among adolescents and sexual activity. Either way it is important to provide the proper information so adolescents are aware of safe sex practices and the dangers that can come (McKeon, 2006). There are many different outcomes within sexual education classes and unfortunately not all classes are positive. The classes seem to work exceedingly well compared to those like pledge-takers who deny the act altogether. Understanding the risk and outcomes of such a life-changing event is important, just ignoring the risk can take a turn for the worst. This is where the importance of knowledge and federal help can come into play.
