Principals of Management, (n.d.), it is common for an organisation to be labelled as one of these culture types. The Lincoln Electric Company is unique, in that it utilises multiple positive aspects from several of the seven cultural styles. The Lincoln Electric Company would be best described as being an Outcome-Oriented culture, but additionally they have taken and incorporated positive aspects of People-Orientated and Team-Oriented cultures as well.

There is also cooperation between workers to achieve outcomes for the business. This is a very positive aspect that is demonstrated by workers at the Lincoln Electric Company. The
Lincoln Electric Company does not have an organisation chart which is common for businesses and they have always kept the degrees of separation between workers and management small. In addition to this they encourage the elimination of multiple degrees of separation and the elimination of hierarchical layers to speak directly with other staff and managers to achieve the quickest approach to getting action. The relationship between managers and staff can also be seen by their open door style and no extra perks for seniority. No separate dining areas, no executive washrooms or reserved car spaces demonstrates this. The sales areas and offices are functional and not elaborate, so as to not create a feeling of difference or separation in their company environment.
The Advisory Board includes representatives from all aspects of the business, allowing for closer relationships between staff and management. This positively encourages and supports input from all areas of the business allowing the advisory board to make more informed effective decisions
