One of the things I use to describe myself and my cultural identity is my family. My family and I are very close. We do almost everything together. I also consider my pets as family. I have played sports ever since I was little, whether it was softball to baseball to soccer, or even volleyball. As of this year, I am only playing soccer. I played soccer and baseball when I was little. I would like to try softball, but I’m afraid of getting hit with the ball, they throw those things hard and fast. I would prefer not to get my face discombobulated by a softball. Even though they are called “softballs,” they are far from soft. But, I have always loved baseball and softball. My favorite professional baseball team is the St. Louis Cardinals. My favorite player used to be Albert Pujols, but he switched teams, sadly. I currently play soccer for our girls soccer team. I’m lucky enough to have gotten my favorite number as me jersey number. However, it is usually my lucky number, but last season was not so lucky. I had to sit out half of the season because of an injury with my oblique. How that happened, I have no idea. But, it happened, and I was a Benchwarmer for most of the season. This season I am hoping to have no issues with anything, and I hope that I will be able to play the whole season. If not, I will definitely be upset. I used to play volleyball. I played from seventh grade to freshman year. I decided not to play this year, because all I did was sit on the bench. I never got to play. It didn’t just happen freshman year either, it was also eighth grade year. I felt
