2. Stories about crime and mystery have been around for years. However, these stories of good vs evil have become one of the most common in our society today. A person can turn on his or her television and see multiple shows such as NCIS and Criminal Minds at almost any point of time. They are a way for people to not only understand what is considered good and evil in our society, but they also give readers and viewers the comfort that good can always win against evil. Humans view today’s world and see that it is full of dangers, the crime and mystery genre gives them the security that something should be done and is being done to stop these dangers (Rosenstand 84-87).

The surgery does have its risks due to the hospitals inability to properly care for patients, however it is still being done by the millions in India today. The act of severing the fallopian tubes in order to keep women from having more than two children in their lifetime has been around for many years and many women are eager to go through with the procedures despite any risks. According to the theory of cultural relativisms this practice is right despite what other cultures might believe. However, medical officials are trying to change the way that the country goes through with sterilization because of the health risks that follow through with the procedure. They have pushed for the idea of lifting the ban on the use of birth control and making it a more common practice, especially for women who wish to have more children someday. However, the government as a whole has not fully enforced this and millions of women are still eager to be sterilized today, following through with their culture of going through with the risky procedure
