I agree that all people have their own opinion on health. Cultural influences definitely do affect their definition. Nurses that understand cultural differences are able to ensure that people receive care that is appropriate for them. Jehovah Witnesses do not receive blood transfusions, but there are steps that can be taken to ensure that these patients receive the car that is needed while protecting their beliefs.
