Cultural imperialism use television, internet, radio, journalism, and advertising more than anything. However, media also have negative impact, which is introduce some of western values that not all of the value could be accepted in some country, especially Indonesia. For example, the fashion of western culture today is being a trend. Transparent clothes are one of the best sales in global market. The trend itself shows that the sexier clothes that you wear, the more fashionable you are. Especially, in the eyes of youth that had been affected by globalization. In fact, wearing transparent clothes are not good in public because it can invite criminal case that we do not want. In addition, the presence of social media Instagram also takes important part because Instagram used as fashion guidelines for Indonesian people. Some clothes picture that posted on Instagram is not selected by the founder first because number of users coming from all cities all over the world with different needs. From those clothes pictures, certainly it is not all compatible with Indonesian culture. Plus, the majority of Indonesian society is Muslim people. Consequently, it is quite hard for using transparent clothes in front of people because people would think that you are kind of impolite person. Another example is food.
