Cultural diversity allows individuals to educate others about religious beliefs and values creating an environment of understanding. There is a strong misunderstanding of what the Quran teaches due to the radical Islam’s who twist the teachings and want to make everyone in the world Muslims like them. Malala and other Muslims should be allowed to continue to practice the Quran in new countries so that they can make people aware that the Quran doesn’t twist people but people twist the Quran. “‘We don’t have any option. We are dependent on these mullahs to learn the Quran,’ he said. ‘But you just use him to learn the literal meaning of the words; don’t follow him explanations and interpretation. Only learn what God says. His words are divine messages, which you are free and independent to interpret.’” Even Malala has trouble understanding why people take what the Quran teaches and twist it to fit what they think, this misconception of the teachings is now a constant reoccurrence. “Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazi, Maulana Faziur Rehman has stated that though violence against women is not permissible in Islam there are several points in the recently passed domestic violence law which contradict teachings of the Quran.’” The Quran is a part of Muslims cultural identities and as long as it is practiced properly there is no issue with it. Someone like Malala is a prime example of a Muslim who learns what the Quran is actually saying and applies it to her life, it causes no harm and should be encouraged in new countries where immigrants
