Fashion has always been a major trend going on around the world. Everyone has their own sense of style and appearance that they choose to look each and everyday. As basic as you may think you are, your sense of fashion can be pointed out by another individual. For me, my sense of fashion appears accordingly to my cultures. Living in two different cultures American as well as African, I managed to dress accordingly to each one. The American culture, my fashion is more of a classy but simple look. It is basic in the eyes of Americans because I dress the same as everyone around me. It sometimes catches people attention but sometimes does not. American clothes are very calm compared to other cultures. Because it's a busy and serious country many people lack in dressing up. In the american culture for most people fashion is about name brand but for me fashion is simplicity at your best. Majority of the times I do my hair on my own. I blow it out with a blow dryer put it into a bun wrap around a head wrap and wear my name earring my mom got me to show it off. Once in awhile I would get braids called the “Poetic Justice Braids” done in the hair salon. It is hair added to your natural hair braided as long as you want. With this hairstyle you can get many different styles done with it. It goes great both with my African cultural dressing and American as well. I get plenty of attention. When I dress up in my American clothes, the message I send to people is that you don't have to look your finest in expensive clothing. Put together what you can afford and make sure you rock it. I make my look extraordinary as I can to my fullest potential. I sometimes wear an african top with American jeans just to spice things up because I like the way it look when i wear
