The United States of America is an amazing world by itself, which is made up of people from different cultures, races, and ethnicities. Migrating from a small Caribbean island to the United States was a huge culture shock. My experiences were short of nothing but excitement to see everything on a grand scale in comparison to major Jamaican cities. My cultural opinions were all base on my limited experiences where, strict dress code and discipline were enforced for all students below tertiary level. However, after gaining a few friends, visiting their homes and experiencing life through their eyes, I gained a better understanding of the cultural dress code.
