Family values are one the many importance’s in several cultures throughout the world. In Hungary, India and Taiwan having children is a necessity for life. Nine out of every ten adults in these three countries have recorded that having children is an important aspect of life (Gallup). With family values comes religious values and beliefs. These two values are linked together because eighty-four percent of the entire world believes in religious faith (Harper). “Belief is specific thoughts or ideas that people hold to be true” (Macionis, page 67). Three global links that have helped make the cultures of the world more similar would be the global economy, global communications and global migration. (Macionis, page 80). The global economy, in other words is “the flow of goods”. This has increased goods and service production which has connected each country together. A benefit of having a good trade system would be the goods and services that we get in return (Macionis, page 80). Global communications, also known as the “flow of information” is another key source that brings the world together. This is beneficial because the better communication we have with our “friend countries”, the more information we get without enemy countries (Macionis, page 80). Global migration, in other words is “the flow of people”. Transportation, traveling and tourists are significant when it comes to supporting other countries cultures. Due to technological advancements, people can more freely travel. These aspects influence societies across the globe. In fact, due to these aspects sociologists and many other professionals can analyze each type of culture. Within this they can identify the similarities from one country to another. An example of identification would be the feminist theory. This consists of gender inequality throughout a society (Macionis, 81). Several
