In order to provide quality nursing care, it is important for nurses and all hearth care professionals to better understand the practices of the different cultures they serve as a result of global migration. Providing quality nursing care to patients from all walks of life with skills, knowledge, positive attitudes, respect and compassion will qualify a nurse as culturally competent in providing care to people from different background.
