I live in Harris County, Houston Texas the US, the estimated population is 4,092,459 making it the most populous county in Texas and the third most populated in the United States. Harris County was founded in 1836 and organized in 1937 by John Richard Harris. The County was a total of 1,777 square miles; 1,703 square miles on land and 74 square miles in water (About Houston, 2017).
Harris County is made up of diverse ethnic groups. This is possible because of its mild, year-round temperatures. As the third largest County, the city attracts visitors all over the world. Harris County has culture-fueled neighborhoods, gallery spaces, and attractions. There are many international restaurants; you will find James Beard Award winners and internationally renowned chefs serving up innovative cuisine.

Harris County has memorial parks, swimming pools, tennis courts, public golf courses. NASA astronomic research is in Harris County, and Texas medical center remains the largest in the world with 47 lauded research and treatment institutions highly (About Houston, 2017). Harris County has many hospitals and healthcare centers around every neighborhood which mad healthcare assessable to its citizens.
The community health nurses are faced with cultural challenges due to the several citizens of Harris County. The nurse must be willing to recognize family skills and knowledge. The nurse in her expert communication skills should establish rapport acceptance, and cultural practices of different ethnic groups to advocate and render comprehensive health assessment and treatment
