There is a lack of involvement between schools and home. The degree of this problem not only affect students but also communication within parents and schools. Although time constraint is one of the barriers that have a negative impact on parental involvement. Parents and schools should be accountable to one another in an effort to increase parental involvement in schools because there appears to be a lack of training for parents on the requirements and needs of students (Smith, 2011). The problem of the current investigation is design to address the role of cultural capital has on the involvement of parents. It is not known, how cultural capital theory and time constraint influence parental involvement for middle school special education students. Educators have sometime prejudge parents depending on their education and social background.
