Awareness
I am aware that there are many different cultures and each have their own personnel beliefs and values. I believe that everyone has the right to practice their cultural beliefs. I am just leaning about my own cultural background which has been a very interesting process. I am aware that there are many types of racism in the world today.
Skills
I have very few skills in conducting a cultural assessment. I try to be sensitive to my patient’s needs. When I have a patient that is from a different cultural background, I will look up information on the cultures beliefs. Lot of room to grow in the skills department.

Knowledge
I have very little knowledge in cultural health-related beliefs and cultural values.
